I sure hope everyone is enjoying there sobriety , its hard to to it when we first come in and know that the pain we have been in when our minds are not working well , and knowing that a drink will take the pain away, not for ever but for just a little while and then we choose not to take it , I use to wonder how many of them days I would have to go threw ........
Faith has to work 24 hours a day in and through us, or we perish
I try to help as many people as I can GOD has given me the time and the people to do that . Every day at meetings new comers come to the rooms of A A some seeking help others to get people off there back , and it really don't matter what the reason is as long as they get to the rooms and know that there is a way for all people to get sober .
A very good freind of mine died sunday his name was terry and he was in the program , he had 9 years . Tery had cancer of the lungs and other problems that came from that , he died sober , that was the most importan thing in his life GOD I admire him the pain he went thru and he still stayed sober WHAT A MAN .I ask all of you to say a prayer for him .
we learned that we had to fully concede to our innermost selves that we were alcoholics . this is the first step in recovery . the delusion that we are like other people, or presently may be , has to be smashed.
Alot has been going on in my life and still everyone still cares how i'm doing that makes my heart warm inside I'm still sober and plan on staying that way
