God has him anyway. New drunks change their minds sometimes. Maybe he is not ready yet. That is how it is supposed to be. You do what you can. You are not responsible if it succeeds or fails only to make sure the hand of AA is there. You do the best you can, but it is always up to him.He is in God's hands not yours.
