WOW DID IT GET ME GOOD , I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN on line for the last week but I've been sick , some thing happen while I was sick the longer I was down it seemed the farther I got away from god , I tryed praying and count my blessings every day but it didn't help .

hey gettingsober glad you are feeling better! Yeah, sometimes when we pray, it may seem that He isnt listening, or that He is far away. But remember this, God never changes, we do. And He is listening. The important thing is not so much the outcome of our prayers, but the simple act of faith we show by praying to Him. Keep it up! PJ		\|< << >> >\|

There is a lot to learn but from what I hear you saying you have a fair start. Getting sober is not for sissys! Real men and women want to be sober after they experience enough trama from chemicals or they get lost in the addictive lifestyle. Most never make it back! Our death rate is hovering around 93-96% depending on who you ask, the AMA(american medical association,)The Johns Hopkins Medical Center or the CDC( Center for Disease Control?) They will all give you a different number. The POINT is addiction KILLS people like you and me! Sober is a subjective verb. It can mean any number of things? The question is -Do you have a sponsor? A sponsor is a guide. A friend, a leader, a servant to the AA group.
